Kabir Lahori was born on June 15, 1969, in Nangarhar, Jalalabad, Afghanistan. He completed his high school education at Sidiq Akbar School in Peshawar, Pakistan. In 1990, Kabir immigrated to Canada, where he began to build a new life. In 2000, he joined the Paiwastoon community.

Kabir has been a dedicated board member of Paywaistoon from 2012 to 2025, playing an important role in supporting and strengthening the Afghan community.
