Yar Mohammad Naeme was born in 1963 in Shahi village, Alingar District of a scenic province Laghman, Afghanistan. His educational journey (elementary school) commenced at Shahi public school. He further pursued his studies at Roshan High School in Laghman and later at Harbi Shonzai (Military High School). In 1983, he graduated from Harbi Pohantoon (Military University) of Afghanistan. He immigrated to Canada in 1989, where he continued his academic pursuits. He attended Monarch Collegiate institute in Toronto, and he earned his degree in 1994. Following this, he further honed his skills at Centennial College, specializing in Communication for Business and Industries in 1995. His thirst for knowledge led him to 3P Computers College, where he delved into Microsoft Technology in 1999. Not content with his accomplishments, he enrolled in Ontario Realtor’s College, and graduated in 2002.
Throughout his career, Naeme has played diverse roles. From 2004 to 2008, he served as an Advisor to HEB International Logistics in Kabul, Afghanistan, contributing his expertise to the logistics sector. His commitment to community service is evident through his involvement in various organizations. From 1998 to 2000, he served as a Member of the Board of Directors and head of the Youth Committee of the Afghan Association Ontario. Furthermore, from 1997 to 2005, he held the esteemed position of President of Loy Nangarhar (Paiwastoon Community), actively promoting cultural ties and community cohesion. From 2003 to 2005, he served as Vice President of the Canadian Pashtoon Cultural Association, based in Mississauga, Ontario. He is one of the key founders and active member of leadership board of Paiwastoon community andsince 2022, he became as general director of Paiwastoon, promoting cultural ties, cohesion of the people and serves for newcomers in GTA and surrounding areas.
